Brand Identity and Development Project

For my term-long project, I want to create a pitch presentation of a wellness brand that grounds itself upon values, such as mindfulness, gratitude, and reflectiveness. In spreading kindness through its minimalistic and playful designs placed on mundane objects, it hopes to inspire a sense of gratitude in the consumer within every day life. 

I choose to market this brand through phone case and lock screen designs as well as tote bag designs, for example, as its everyday use allows the consumer to digest certain affirmations that are embedded into these designs on a repetitive daily basis. The sticker designs and decorative cards work similarly in that they can be used as objects to spread kindness to oneself wherever one may need it; They can be placed within one's immediate vicinity when waking up and going to bed to foster a good routine of waking up and falling asleep to affirmations and kind sayings. Or they can work around an office space to foster efficiency through affirmative action, or they can be attached to waterbottles or school utensils to motivate oneself on the daily. Their versatile usage offers the consumer to use these designs at whatever time of the day and in various area of life to boost their confidence and mental energy. 

However, what the brand is ultimately for is not only to get yourself surrounded by kindess, affirmation and gratitude on a habitual basis but to also practice it intrinsically through journal entries. Hence, why I choose to market the brand further through editorial designs of a journal in combiation with a set of candles to facilitate and stimulate that process. 

Overall, I want this brand to breathe a peaceful tone through its minimalistic look and feel, not only as evident in the digital and or printed designs but also through its presentation. The minimalism would instill a sense of calmness and luxury but combined with the light orange and pink hues I am currently thinking about, it would become something more playful and breatheable at the same time. The color schemes are still in the works.
